The dust of the wasteland settled around Rei as he faced his opponent, the air thick with tension. He did not move like a storm; instead, he flowed like a river finding its path through stone. With a sudden flicker of motion, his hand struck the enemy's chest. There was no loud impact, only a wet, sickening thud. The attacker gasped, clutching their torso as blood began to pour from their mouth and eyes, their body betraying them as the Azure Dragon's technique took hold.

Seiryūken techniques are visually distinct for their lack of telegraphed force; strikes appear soft but deliver devastating internal damage. The primary targets include pressure points along the sternum, solar plexus, and neck that control blood flow and organ function. Upon a successful strike, the victim often experiences immediate internal rupture, leading to coughing up blood or sudden collapse without external bruising initially visible. The lethality is extreme; even trained fighters can die within seconds if the correct points are hit with sufficient precision. Counter-measures are nearly impossible for average opponents due to the speed and subtlety of the attacks. Only masters of other Nanto styles, such as Hokuto Shinken, might detect the intent or deflect the strike before contact is made.
